Qualification and Accreditations

Qualified accountant (pre-2010 ISCA route) with extensive experience across financial control, management accounting, and statutory reporting within regulated business environments. Supplemented by CIMA progression through to Managerial Level 3.

Lead finance contact for processes spanning end-to-end monthly management accounts, statutory financial reporting, and audit-facing deliverables, with a consistent focus on accuracy, compliance, and financial governance.

Significantly centred on strengthening internal control frameworks. Including the design and implementation of robust internal company controls such as purchase order authorisation and approval workflows, monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet control accounts, and formalised processes for accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset reconciliation. All controls embedded into monthly close cycles and independently validated through external audit review, confirming alignment with Financial Reporting Council (FRC) expectations and best practice governance standards.

Primary finance contact for engagement with the Financial Reporting Council, supporting audit readiness, regulatory queries, and assurance processes across reporting periods.

Consistently focused on ensuring financial statements are not only accurate, but robust strong audit trails, controlled balance sheet integrity, and sustainable compliance frameworks. Continued emphasis on the importance of financial control in today’s increasingly regulated reporting and governance landscape, where transparency, traceability, and accountability remain central to stakeholder confidence.
